What we do
Creating beautiful spaces, things, ideas and experiences is what we love to do. So besides the things we do below, we just wanted you to know that Rhubarb Room is the space to come if you need a break, a cuppa with your friend, a bit of inspiration, a little TLC or even just your tummy filled. This is what we do best:
Gifts
Our passion is going out into the world searching for a unique combination of gifts and homewares. We bring all our discoveries back to the shop where we package, display, sell and wrap them in a uniquley Rhubarb Room way. This is meant to make you feel happy. We love all things local (and a few things from further a field), old world and new, red and(duckegg) blue, quirky and Frenchy feeling. Treating yourself or someone special to a Rhubarb Room gift is almost a necessity.
Cafe
Winter is here so mornings we have a toasty special (Illy coffee with toast and butter R20 and R26 with preserves) and old fashioned oats with milk, honey and butter, enjoy a hot cup of tea and a muffin. At lunchtime we have soups, sandwiches and always a couple of our homemade sweet treats for afternoon tea. We have no set menu just a few daily delights that change from week to week.
Clothing
Visit our Rhubarb Room boudoir where you are sure to discover a closet or a dresser filled with beautiful women's clothing, jewellery and accessories. As always we love showing off local talent so we stock brands such as Tashkaya clothing, Skermunkil jewelllery,Joybelle, Ruby Roo jewellery and female Mingo Laberti t-shirts. Events
We host kitchen teas, baby showers and if you fancy a birthday tea with your friends we do that to. We can customise any small intimate function you wish for.
Gifting service
No time or inclination to find a gift? Then give us a ring and with your personal input we will select, wrap and deliver a gift for you. We can put together customised corporate gifts with our variety of affordable and unique products, either for your clients and/or colleagues.
Wedding registry
Come setup your gift registry for your special day. We have a beautiful selection of quality glass and silverware, cutlery and more, the perfect gifts for starting a new home together.
